MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

While Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the smallest parks, it is one of the most popular and most visited in all of Costa Rica.

Its enchanting blend of lush tropical rainforest, stunning white sand beaches kissed by emerald waters, vibrant coral reefs, and abundant wildlife, make this a must-see, must-do activity while in Manuel Antonio. Touring the park with our fantastic bilingual naturalist guide will provide you with an unforgettable experience. He will unveil the vast biodiversity within this incredible ecosystem! RAINMAKER RESERVE

Rainmaker is a private tropical rainforest reserve located at the foot of the mountains just outside of Manuel Antonio. Your naturalist guide will lead you on a hike along a pristine river and up a lush trail to the mountaintop, offering a breathtaking view all the way to the sparkling Pacific Ocean.

You will then continue across a series of suspension bridges, allowing you to explore the majesty of the forest canopy from a bird’s-eye view. Rainmaker is teeming with a vibrant variety of birds, colorful insects, and diverse amphibians, and it also boasts a couple of stunning waterfalls where you can take a refreshing dip! NIGHT TOUR

A favorite for those who want to go beyond the limitations of a day walk, this tour lets you check out nocturnal wildlife in its natural habitat, as well as many exotic trees. The forest provides a completely different experience at night than during the day. This is an easy walk and a family-friendly adventure where you can learn about plants, fruit trees, and various species of animals such as amphibians, insects, reptiles, and mammals that you would miss during the day.

EL ROCIO RAINFOREST SPICE PLANTATION TOUR

Finca Agrícola El Rocio is a family project born from the dream of sharing the experience of rural life in Costa Rica. After a short trip through the charming small town of Naranjito, you will arrive at the plantation.

Here, you will connect with nature and learn about the artisanal processes involved in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops. HORSEBACK RIDING – MOUNTAIN TOUR

WHITEWATER RAFTING – SAVEGRE RIVER (ALL YEAR)

The Savegre River, one of the most pristine rivers in the country, surrounded by lush vegetation and meandering waters, features class II and class III rapids perfect for all ages and levels of rafters. Your experienced guide will take you on this amazing adventure, stopping along the way to swim in the calmer waters and visit a beautiful waterfall.

Your guide will also help you spot the surrounding rainforest’s beautiful wild inhabitants and commonly seen birds. Snacks are provided during the waterfall stop, and a typical Costa Rican meal is served at the end of the trip. Suitable for children aged 6 and upwards.

WHITEWATER RAFTING – NARANJO RIVER LOWER SECTION (MAY – DEC) 

The Naranjo River is one of Costa Rica’s most exciting whitewater rafting rivers. It forms the natural southern border of Manuel Antonio National Park and is the closest river for rafting. This section offers class III and class IV rapids, perfect for those with some rafting experience or daring first-timers looking for a challenge.

The river drops steeply from the coastal mountain range above Quepos through a beautiful jungle gorge, taking you on a wild ride to sea level, and passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. The riverbanks are overgrown with jungle, and the canyon walls meet the water at 90-degree angles, making for an unforgettable day! Suitable for children aged 12 and upwards.

CATAMARAN sAILING

Board in Quepos and head out into the glistening Pacific Ocean in search of dolphins, turtles, and other marine life. 7-IN-1 QUEPOS CANYONING

Offering seven different activities in one, this exhilarating option is located in the heart of the rainforest, just 30 minutes from Manuel Antonio. NAUYACA WATERFALL

One of the most impressive waterfalls in Costa Rica, Nauyaca is Mother Nature’s waterpark. Begin your adventure at a waterfall and swimming hole to cool off and enjoy some small jumps. Then, drive to Nauyaca and hike through the jungle for about 40 minutes, learning about the area’s flora and fauna.

Your hike will be rewarded with swimming, jumping, and exploring the Nauyaca Waterfall, consisting of two tiers. The bottom fall is ideal for swimming and jumping, standing at about 75ft, while the upper waterfall towers at about 150ft. Both tiers offer swimming holes and areas to explore.

CAÑO ISLAND

Situated in the stunning Pacific Ocean, approximately 30 km off the coast of the Osa Peninsula, Caño Island is renowned as one of Costa Rica’s premier diving destinations. This biological reserve boasts a diverse array of tropical fish, whales, and sharks. With exceptional underwater visibility ranging from 40 to 100ft, visitors can observe a myriad of marine species throughout the year. The sites surrounding the island feature a volcanic topography, harboring the country’s most diverse reefs.

Departing from Marino Ballena National Park early in the morning, you’ll navigate along the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
